A Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician, Dr. Tuere Coulter, has made her mark in medicine and has become a highly sought-after physician in the Houston and Galveston areas. She is the owner and CEO of Family & Aesthetics Medical Centers (F.A.M.) located in Pearland, TX. F.A.M. is a state of the art, modern medical facility that offers a welcoming family environment with care, compassionate, and comprehensive healthcare. 

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Coulter graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tennessee State University with a B.S in Biology and Minor in Chemistry. Upon graduating from Tennessee State University, Dr. Coulter received her Medical Doctorate degree from the University Of Tennessee School Of Medicine and completed her residency training at John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth, TX. She then went on to complete an Obstetric Fellowship in Chicago, IL which allows her to be among a very small number of Family Medicine Physicians to practice obstetrics and perform Cesarean sections for her patients for a number of years.

      Dr. Coulter began her career at Baylor College of Medicine. She left Baylor to join the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston as faculty and has helped to train both medical students and resident physicians for a career in medicine. She held various positions at the University of Texas Medical Branch including Associate Residency Program Director. In November 2019, Dr. Coulter expanded her wings and opened Family & Aesthetics Medical Centers to be able to provide individualized, comphrensive medical care for all in Pearland, Houston, Galveston and surrounding areas. She has traveled extensively, educating communities and providing medical care in both Africa and the Middle East. She has been recognized as “Top Doctors In Texas Rising Stars” for 4 consecutive years.

     As a Family Medicine physician, Dr. Coulter, provides comprehensive care to the entire family from birth to our aging population. She uses her unique skill set to care for the “whole” patient with an emphasis on Preventative Care, Care of Chronic Diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension, and Asthma, Obstetric Care, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Adolescent Health, Pediatric Care, and Clinic-Based Procedures because she believes that this is what a physician should do. She enjoys caring for the entire family and creates lasting bonds with her patients.

Dr. Coulter volunteers outside of daily work routines by serving as a resource to the community at health fairs in Galveston and Harris Counties. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  She is a faithful member of the Fountain of Praise Church in Houston, TX and serves on the Wellness Ministry. Dr. Coulter is passionate about educating the community.
